I so like when there is an opportunity to photograph weather conditions like this above a clear sea. No grand appartment buildings or trees or electricity lines in front of the clouds. Just the storm and my lens. I also like the extremes in weather in Croatia. I mean, when it is hot, it is really HOT. When there are rains, drops are huge and plenty. Short rainshowers as well, something else than the weather here ( Netherlands), where it can rain silently and devastating all day. I have been close to storms, where you were not allowed to drive through with your car. Too dangerous. The bura wind can be so strong, sometimes you have to keep yourself from falling down. And once, while driving through croatia and Bosnia we saw the continuing flashes of lightning on a dark sky, there seemed to be no ending and the only thing we could do is not drive too close and be in awe for so much power of nature. One can feel quite small and vulnerable facing nature at times...
